Despite the advanced capabilities of current large language models (LLMs) like ChatGPT, a significant challenge lies in their ability to understand and reason through technical academic concepts. Our client, a forward-thinking enterprise in the educational sector, identified a critical gap. While they had pre-trained an LLM on extensive academic content across STEM and Humanities, the model struggled with providing reasoned responses to complex technical queries—a vital feature for an effective AI tutor.
